For The Love Of Horses… That’s why we all do this, right? We love horses. We love the feeling of power and strength and, yeah, humility we get when a 1200 pound animal treats us like a respected partner. We love the quiet joy of spending time with our friends; both four legged and two. We love the satisfaction of a clean horse in a clean barn….the sound of lots of contented mouths munching hay….the sight of steam floating up from widened nostrils as you canter across a field on a cold day. We don’t even mind when we spend an hour getting every hair in place and the first thing they do is go out and roll in the dirtiest spot they can find. Because we are all doing this for the love of horses. At Renaissance Farm at Running Wind, horses come first. Period. Running Wind Farm is a lovely facility with an unbeatable lit all-weather ring, a large, well built Derby/cross country course, access to trails, multiple safe paddocks for turnout, hot/cold water washracks, enormous 12×12+ stalls and all of this in a secluded park like setting. Includes top quality feed and hay, blanketing, small group turnout […]
